What are the professional competences of Multilex’s translators?
We use the ISO 17100 Quality Standard’s requirements for translations and work exclusively with translators who can meet at least one of the following criteria:
- A recognized graduate qualification in translation from an institution of higher education;
- A recognized graduate qualification in any other field from an institution of higher education plus two years of full-time professional experience in translating;
- Five years of full-time professional experience in translating.
How does your three-steps translation process work?
We use three different professional linguistics during our three-steps translation process. After a document has been translated, a proofreader reviews the translation against the original version to verify that it appropriately represents the original source. An editor then carefully reviews the document and discuss word choices with the client to ensure client’s satisfaction with the final product.
